Mineral fertilizer handling on the Danube
Fertilizer is the key import specialization of New Energy. We handle mineral fertilizers in bulk and packed in big-bags, with an in-house filling line for parties that arrive bulk and need to be bagged before delivery to inland Ukrainian agricultural regions.
Fertilizer types we handle
Urea, ammonium nitrate, NPK compound fertilizers, potassium chloride (potash), DAP and MAP phosphates, sulphate of ammonia, calcium ammonium nitrate. Both granular and prilled forms. Hygroscopic fertilizers go to dedicated covered storage sections.
Big-bag filling line
Owned filling module with automatic dosing into big-bags (FIBC, flexible intermediate bulk containers), typically 400 to 1,500 kg per bag. The line accepts deliveries straight from vessel or from bulk warehouse and packs without manual handling, and bagged output goes directly to road or rail dispatch.
Routes and markets
Fertilizer imports arrive primarily from Black Sea, Mediterranean and Baltic origins for Ukrainian agricultural distribution. Onward delivery is by rail or road across Ukraine, with onward routes to Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria. Importers use our terminal because it combines deep-water vessel acceptance with direct rail and customs on the same site.
Storage and dispatch
Covered storage with sectioned bays prevents cross-contamination between different fertilizer types. Open yards with hard surfaces accept bagged fertilizer for short-term staging. Dispatch by truck via certified weighbridges or by rail via our on-site fronts. Hygroscopic protection where the cargo specification requires it.
