New Energy provides cargo handling at its private terminal in Izmail, at km 87 of the Kilia Branch of the Danube. The service connects the vessel interface with agreed storage, road or rail dispatch under one port operator.
The commercial objective is not simply to move cargo across the quay. It is to preserve cargo identity, quantity, condition and document continuity across every handover.
Cargoes considered for handling
New Energy publicly specializes in:
- grain and oilseeds;
- mineral fertilizers in bulk or approved packaging;
- steel products, ore and qualifying mineral cargo;
- breakbulk and general cargo.
Acceptance is cargo-specific. The commercial name, physical form, regulatory classification, packaging and safety information must be reviewed before dispatch. A listed cargo family does not mean that every product or condition is automatically accepted.
Handling interfaces available for qualification
Depending on the cargo and confirmed operating plan, a project may connect:
- river-sea vessel and terminal storage;
- vessel and road transport;
- vessel and rail transport;
- inland transport and storage;
- storage and vessel;
- two water-transport legs through a terminal transfer.
The final method depends on the nominated vessel, cargo form, onward equipment, survey plan and current conditions. Detailed terminal and equipment compatibility is confirmed privately.
What the service scope can include
An agreed cargo-handling order can cover:
- terminal receipt and cargo identification;
- execution of the approved loading or discharge method;
- certified weighing within the applicable flow;
- operational tally and exception records;
- placement into agreed storage or direct dispatch;
- access for an appointed independent surveyor;
- coordination with ship agency, customs-control infrastructure and onward logistics where separately requested;
- release records at the next terminal interface.
The quote will state what is included. Freight, customs brokerage, independent certification, product compliance and vessel-side stowage or securing responsibilities are separate unless expressly contracted.
From inquiry to confirmed operation
1. Commercial qualification
Send the cargo, approximate quantity, trade direction, target period, arrival mode, departure mode and services requested. This allows New Energy to determine whether a technical review is appropriate.
2. Cargo and interface review
The parties exchange the specification, lot structure, packaging or bulk properties, vessel nomination data, inland equipment, quality and quantity basis, official-control status and handling restrictions through controlled channels.
3. Method and responsibility confirmation
New Energy confirms the accepted terminal scope. The shipper validates cargo information; the carrier and master retain vessel-safety responsibilities; the customs broker owns declarations; the nominated surveyor owns independent certificates.
4. Readiness gate
Before cargo moves, every required document, appointment, transport interface and fallback must have a named owner. Live operating windows are confirmed privately for the actual project.
5. Records and close-out
Terminal quantities, survey records, transport documents and exceptions are reconciled before final release instructions.
Why use one port operator?
New Energy combines cargo handling with covered and open storage within an approximately 40,000 m² total site, certified weighing, an on-site customs-control environment, ship agency and logistics-support services. Buyers can place the relevant interfaces in one project scope while keeping legal and professional responsibilities explicit.
The terminal is ISPS-certified under UAIZM-0019 and listed in the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority system. These credentials support counterparty qualification; they do not replace cargo or vessel approval.
Information needed for a preliminary quote
cargo and classification → bulk/package form → approximate quantity → lots → origin/destination → arrival mode → departure mode → vessel status → storage need → survey and quantity basis → customs status → target period → contracting party
For breakbulk, add a private unit schedule with verified weights, dimensions, packaging and lifting provisions. For solid bulk mineral cargo, add the applicable carriage information and certificates. For grain and fertilizer, add the product, quality, moisture, contamination and segregation requirements.
Request a cargo-handling proposal
Send a non-sensitive commercial brief first. New Energy will identify the documents and technical information required for private qualification. No binding capacity, method or timing is implied until the cargo, vessel and connected transport interfaces are confirmed.
